Jorgen has over 25 years extensive experience in the IT and Business Continuity industry, including operations support and management, technical software development and support, project management, network development and management, facilities management, disaster recovery planning and business continuity planning.

Since 1994 he has been intimately involved with Business Continuity Planning, as a co-founder of Shadow Solutions which has grown into ContinuitySA today. During this period Jorgen has defined Recovery Strategies and Business Continuity frameworks and plans for a diverse range of Southern African businesses.

Jorgen was awarded a Fellowship of the Business Continuity Institute and has been recognised for innovation in creating methodologies used in the various Business Continuity disciplines.

As a director of ContinuitySA Jorgen has been responsible for growing the company from a start-up to Southern Africa’s leading Business Continuity company with recovery sites in four countries, over 30,000m² of work area recovery and over 2000m² of data centre, dedicated to business continuity needs.
