Anthony Askew Managing Director: Globility

Anthony Askew completed his secondary education at Durban High School with a higher grade Matric in 1981 and then his tertiary education at the University of Natal with a BSc Engineering (Mechanical) degree.

Anthony holds a Pr Eng, a Government Certificate of Competencies (Factories) (GCC) and a MDP from the University of Pretoria. Anthony has been involved in Engineering, Facilities Management and in Information Technology since 1989.

Initially with remote data capture equipment, then Enterprise Resource Planning systems and later e-Commerce enablement systems, he is currently Managing Director of Globility (Pty) Ltd which is a subsidiary company of ContinuitySA (Pty) Ltd in the field of Business Process Outsourcing and Off-shoring (BPO&O) (Contact Centre division – Managed Infrastructure Services).

He is also an Executive Committee member of ContinuitySA which is the largest Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Company in Africa. He was been involved in sales and marketing for twelve years, both in his own businesses and for corporations, actively developing new business and securing new clients and markets.

Anthony has experience in the IT, contact centre, facilities management, electricity generation and human resources arena’s. Anthony has a keen interest in financial markets, sport, the JSE (where he has his own portfolio) and macro economics. He is married to Janet and has two children, Stephanie and Brad.
